We operate the website https://www.steadyapp.org/, the mobile application Steadyapp (the "App"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (collectively, the "Services").

Your Submissions and Contributions
By directly sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, feedback, or other information ("Submissions"), you agree to assign to us all intellectual property rights in such Submission. We shall own this Submission and be entitled to its unrestricted use for any lawful purpose.
Any Contributions you post through the Services may be viewable by other users. You are solely responsible for your Submissions and Contributions and expressly agree to reimburse us for any losses resulting from your breach of these terms, any third party's intellectual property rights, or applicable law.
We may remove or edit your Content at any time without notice if we consider it harmful or in breach of these Legal Terms.
3. User Representations
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete; (2) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; (3) you have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Legal Terms; (4) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (5) you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means; (6) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; and (7) your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Services.
4. User Registration
You may be required to register to use the Services. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. As a user of the Services, you agree not to:

- Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising the Services.
- Make any unauthorized use of the Services, including collecting usernames or email addresses for unsolicited communications.
- Use the Services to advertise or offer to sell goods and services, or sell or otherwise transfer your profile.
- Post harmful, dangerous, misleading, abusive, hateful, triggering, or sexually explicit content.
- Impersonate others or violate any person's privacy or real identity.
- Engage in illegal activities, platform misuse, or unauthorized promotion or spam.
- Over-rely on or misuse the platform as a substitute for professional or emergency services.
6. User Generated Contributions
The Services may invite you to chat, contribute to, or participate in blogs, message boards, online forums, and other functionality. Any Contributions you transmit may be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. When you create or make available any Contributions, you represent and warrant that:
- Your Contributions do not infringe the proprietary rights of any third party.
- You are the creator and owner of, or have the necessary rights to use, your Contributions.
- Your Contributions are not false, inaccurate, misleading, or unsolicited advertising.
- Your Contributions are not obscene, violent, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Your Contributions do not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third party's privacy rights.
- Your Contributions do not violate any provisions relating to the protection of minors.
- Your Contributions do not include offensive content connected to race, national origin, gender, sexual preference, or physical handicap.
7. Contribution License
By posting Contributions to any part of the Services, you automatically grant us an unrestricted, unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, fully-paid, worldwide right and license to host, use, copy, reproduce, disclose, sell, publish, broadcast, store, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, transmit, and distribute such Contributions for any purpose, commercial or otherwise.
We do not assert any ownership over your Contributions. You retain full ownership of all your Contributions and any associated intellectual property rights. We are not liable for any statements or representations in your Contributions. You are solely responsible for your Contributions and agree to exonerate us from any and all responsibility in relation to them.
8. Guidelines for Reviews
When posting a review, you must: (1) have firsthand experience with the person or entity being reviewed; (2) not use offensive, abusive, racist, or hateful language; (3) not include discriminatory references based on religion, race, gender, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability; (4) not reference illegal activity; (5) not make false or misleading statements; and (6) not organise a campaign encouraging others to post reviews, whether positive or negative.
We may accept, reject, or remove reviews in our sole discretion. Reviews are not endorsed by us and do not represent our opinions or the views of any of our affiliates or partners.
9. Mobile Application License
Use License
If you access the Services via the App, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to install and use the App on wireless electronic devices owned or controlled by you strictly in accordance with the terms of this mobile application license. You shall not: (1) decompile, reverse engineer, or decrypt the App; (2) make any modification or derivative work from the App; (3) violate any applicable laws in connection with your access or use of the App; (4) remove or obscure any proprietary notice; (5) use the App for any revenue-generating or commercial purpose; or (6) use the App to create a product or service competitive with the App.
Apple and Android Devices
When you use the App obtained from the Apple Store or Google Play (each an "App Distributor"): (1) the license is limited to use on a device using Apple iOS or Android; (2) we are responsible for providing maintenance and support as specified in these Legal Terms; (3) in the event of any App failure to conform to a warranty, you may notify the applicable App Distributor for a refund; (4) you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country; and (5) you must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
10. Services Management
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: (1) monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms; (2) take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates the law or these Legal Terms; (3) refuse, restrict access to, or disable any of your Contributions; (4) remove from the Services any files and content that are excessive in size or burdensome to our systems; and (5) otherwise manage the Services in a manner designed to protect our rights and property and to facilitate the proper functioning of the Services.
11. Privacy Policy
We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy at steadyapp.org/privacy. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms.
Please be advised the Services are hosted in the United Kingdom. If you access the Services from any other region of the world with laws governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable laws in the United Kingdom, through your continued use of the Services, you are transferring your data to the United Kingdom and expressly consent to have your data transferred to and processed there.
12. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice and Policy
Notifications
If you believe that any material available on or through the Services infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please notify our Designated Copyright Agent using the contact information below. All Notifications should meet the requirements of DMCA 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) and include: (1) a physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (3) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Services; (4) contact information for the complaining party; (5) a statement of good faith belief; and (6) a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, under penalty of perjury.
Counter Notification
If you believe your copyrighted material has been removed in error, you may submit a written Counter Notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be effective, your Counter Notification must include: (1) identification of the removed material and its prior location; (2) consent to jurisdiction of the relevant Federal District Court; (3) your name, address, and telephone number; and (4) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.

13. Term and Termination
These Legal Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Services. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY, DENY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICES TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING BREACH OF ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR COVENANT CONTAINED IN THESE LEGAL TERMS.
If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and creating a new account under your name, a fake name, or the name of any third party. We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including pursuing civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.
14. Modifications and Interruptions
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We have no obligation to update any information on our Services.
We cannot guarantee the Services will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems or need to perform maintenance, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors. We have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Services during any downtime or discontinuance of the Services.
15. Governing Law
These Legal Terms are governed by and interpreted following the laws of the United Kingdom. The use of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sales of Goods is expressly excluded. If your habitual residence is in the EU and you are a consumer, you additionally possess the protection provided by the obligatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Steady Limited and yourself both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newport, United Kingdom, which means you may make a claim to defend your consumer protection rights either in the United Kingdom or in the EU country in which you reside.
16. Dispute Resolution
Informal Negotiations
To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Legal Terms, the parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration. Such informal negotiations commence upon written notice from one party to the other.
Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising from the relationships between the parties shall be determined by one arbitrator chosen in accordance with the Arbitration and Internal Rules of the European Court of Arbitration, part of the European Centre of Arbitration having its seat in Strasbourg. The seat of arbitration shall be Newport, United Kingdom. The language of the proceedings shall be English. Applicable rules of substantive law shall be the law of the United Kingdom.
Restrictions
The parties agree that any arbitration shall be limited to the Dispute between the parties individually. No arbitration shall be joined with any other proceeding, and there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis or in a purported representative capacity on behalf of the general public.
Exceptions
The following Disputes are not subject to the above provisions: (a) any Disputes seeking to enforce or protect any intellectual property rights; (b) any Dispute related to allegations of theft, piracy, invasion of privacy, or unauthorised use; and (c) any claim for injunctive relief.
17. Corrections
There may be information on the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time, without prior notice.
18. Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SERVICES' CONTENT. WE WILL ASSUME NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ERRORS, PERSONAL INJURY, UNAUTHORISED ACCESS, INTERRUPTION OF TRANSMISSION, BUGS OR VIRUSES, OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE USE OF ANY CONTENT POSTED VIA THE SERVICES.
19. Limitations of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY, OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO US DURING THE SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD PRIOR TO ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OR £100.
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your Contributions; (2) use of the Services; (3) breach of these Legal Terms; (4) any breach of your representations and warranties; (5) your violation of the rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights; or (6) any overt harmful act toward any other user of the Services with whom you connected via the Services.
21. User Data
We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Services for the purpose of managing the performance of the Services. Although we perform regular routine backups of data, you are solely responsible for all data that you transmit or that relates to any activity you have undertaken using the Services. You agree that we shall have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of any such data, and you hereby waive any right of action against us arising from any such loss or corruption.
22. Electronic Communications, Transactions, and Signatures
Visiting the Services, sending us emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.
YOU HEREBY AGREE TO THE USE OF ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES, CONTRACTS, ORDERS, AND OTHER RECORDS, AND TO ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF NOTICES, POLICIES, AND RECORDS OF TRANSACTIONS INITIATED OR COMPLETED BY US OR VIA THE SERVICES.

24. Miscellaneous
These Legal Terms and any policies or operating rules posted by us on the Services constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision.
We may assign any or all of our rights and obligations to others at any time. If any provision or part of a provision of these Legal Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is deemed severable from these Legal Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
There is no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship created between you and us as a result of these Legal Terms or use of the Services.

Steady is designed to provide general support and guidance only. It does not offer medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users should seek qualified professional help for any medical or mental health concerns.
Steady is not a substitute for professional medical advice, emergency services, or clinical support. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact the relevant emergency services or a crisis helpline in your country immediately.
26. Users Responsibility Clause
You acknowledge that your progress and decisions are your own responsibility. Steady is a support tool and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional or emergency services.
By using Steady, you accept full responsibility for your choices and actions made in connection with the app. We encourage you to use Steady as one part of a broader approach to your wellbeing, which may include professional support, trusted relationships, and community resources.
